What's new?

Derbymates grows every week. Here is what's been added, with the date.

  1. Every club to explore, real cities, own names

    • Every club of every league can now be opened: club info with the squad, player profiles with strength, position and market value, and every match with its report. That includes France, Italy and Spain.
    • The Derby Cup and the European cups have their own menu entries.
    • In the two top leagues of every country the computer clubs are now named after real cities with a founding year, such as Dortmund 1909 or Manchester 1878.
    • Give any club a name of your own: tap “Rename” in its club info. Only you see it, in tables, matches, cups and the rankings.

  2. Vacation, fair play and safe payments

    • Vacation mode for everyone: set up to six weeks away in the settings. The assistant picks the team, reminders pause, and the computer won't take your club in the meantime.
    • Fair play in transfers: between two managers in public leagues prices of 70 to 200% of the market value apply. A player a manager let go can be signed by other managers only after 14 days.
    • Pro unlocks reliably after you buy it, even if the payment confirmation takes longer. The Pro page has a “Check purchase” button for that.

  3. European cups, achievements and ranking

    • Three European cups with clubs from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, France, Italy and Spain: Elite Cup, Continental Cup and Challenger Cup. The first matches are on 15 October 2026.
    • 40 achievements in bronze, silver and gold, shown in the office and in the club info.
    • A ranking of all managers: season, all-time table and achievements.
    • France, Italy and Spain have their own league systems with computer clubs. You can follow every league live.
    • You can now hand over a club in the settings. And the status page shows whether everything runs.

  4. Derby Cup, app and chat

    • The Derby Cup across all leagues of a region: 32 clubs, Wednesdays at 18:00, final on 6 November 2026. The lower-league club plays at home.
    • Starter tasks for the first three days, with in-game money as a reward.
    • Chat in friends leagues, with a word filter and reporting.
    • Derbymates can be installed as an app and reminds you before kick-off.
    • Sign-in with email and password, right on the home page.

  5. Kick-off: Derbymates is live

    • Public leagues in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK, with promotion and relegation.
    • Friends leagues you invite your mates to with a code.
    • Pro with an assistant coach, potential and opponent reports, 14 days free to try. No pay-to-win.
